An eFoil (electric hydrofoil) isn't just a surfboard with a motor. It is a precision-engineered machine consisting of three main components:

The Board: High-buoyancy carbon fibre or foam-core decks.
The Mast & Wing: The underwater "airplane" wing that creates lift as you gain speed.
The Propulsion System: A silent, emission-free electric motor controlled by a handheld Bluetooth remote.

As you accelerate, the wing generates lift. Once you hit the "take-off speed" (usually around 12–15 mph), the board rises out of the water. This eliminates surface tension and drag, resulting in a ride that is silent, smooth, and incredibly fast.

The Level-Off: Once the board leaves the water, bring your weight back to the centre. Small movements make a big difference when you’re flying at 20 knots!
